We started this morning running out the door for Esther's doc appointments. I'll update on that elsewhere, but the news is good.
While we were at the hospital this morning, we managed to sneak in a science lesson on kidneys and bladders and what they do and how they work together. Complete with visual aides! We also snuck in a lesson on fractions and money while waiting in between appointments. They both got a lesson in being polite and being kind to those who are not as able bodied as themselves. Isaac and Esther blew bubbles and sang songs and even pushed wheelchairs with new friends...'twas an interesting morning!
This afternoon, we are chilling at Gramma Joyce's and tending to the cats and relaxing a bit. A much needed break from the house and list of "to do"s.
We'll still work on some Geography (map reading skills) and Personal finance...
